Job description: Wall mounting of television and Foxtel hidden behind TV
This Television Installation Elanora Heights Northern Beaches Sydney the customer had Foxtel recently installed and was not happy with having the Foxtel box placed on the chest of drawers underneath the tv and with all the cables exposed (see picture below)
We decided to purchase another wall mount, this time being a swivel mount and place the tv in the corner of the bedroom. With the LCD TV in the corner we could hide all the power and antenna point behind the LCD TV. We also decided to mount the Foxtel box behind the tv and out of sight.
We made up some aluminium brackets to mount and support the Foxtel box. We used the same holes used for mounting the Toshiba television.

Overall a neater and tidier look for in the bedroom. The Foxtel box is hidden and out of the way. The Toshiba LCD TV also has a built in DVD player. We could still get access to the dvd on the side of the tv.

I mounted a 65-inch Sony onto a VJ-panelled feature wall in a new-build Warriewood townhouse last week, and it’s a job that catches installers out if they haven’t dealt with this wall type before. Mounted a 75-inch Samsung Frame TV for a customer in Naremburn on the North Shore recently, and this one came with two problems worth knowing about if you’re considering the newest Frame — one about the TV itself, one about the wall. Samsung TV Wall Mount in Avalon on a Solid Brick Wall
This one was in a townhouse in Avalon, mounting a 55-inch Samsung on a solid brick wall. Brick changes the job. Samsung Frame TV Wall Mount in Dee Why, Cables Fully Hidden
I had a great job in Dee Why last week. My customer had just moved from Fairlight and wanted her Samsung The Frame 55 inch properly set up in the new lounge room. The Frame is not like a normal smart TV to mount. The whole idea is that it looks like a piece of […]

Here’s a job that comes up more often than you’d think. A customer in Frenchs Forest had bought a 32-inch Hisense and a swivel bracket to go with it, ready for a spot at the top of the stairs. The bracket was rated for the size, the box said it would fit, and it didn’t. […]
