Job Description: Wall Mounting of a Sony 65in Ultra HD LCD TV and connection of Foxtel & Apple TV
My customer had an older 50in Panasonic LCD which there was nothing wrong with but they wanted a larger screen and a smart tv.
They upgraded to a 65in Sony smart tv from the Panasonic LCD. For a smarter, cleaner look they wanted the tv to be mounted on the wall. they also have small grandchildren that come to visit every now and then so having the television mounted onto the wall is a very safe option!
I got the customer to choose the height he wanted the tv hung but we also had to consider they might get a soundbar in the future. We had to leave enough space under the tv to accommodate this possibility.
We hid all the HDMI cables inside the wall and reconnected up the Foxtel IQ2 and Apple TV. The TV was also connected to the internet as they have a Netflix account. I showed some examples of the 4K capabilities via Youtube.
