Job Description: Television installation and wall mounting of a Sony 43in smart tv.
My customer had just purchased a new Sony smart tv and wanted television wall mounted in their bedroom.
I was able to find 2 timber stud in the wall to fix the wall bracket to. I used a flat universal wall bracket that is suitable for this Sony tv and any other tv in the future.

The customer also wanted their Apple TV connected so we stuck the Apple TV box behind the tv so it was out of sight. Since the Apple remote controls are bluetooth there was no problem with remote talking to the box behind the tv.
The tv was connected to the wifi so they were able to get the catch up services e.g. ABCiView, SBS on Demand etc.

I mounted a new 55-inch LG into a custom built-in unit for a family in Willoughby recently — the kind of joinery with a proper TV niche, shelving either side for photo frames, and cabinets running underneath. Mounted a 75-inch Samsung Frame TV for a customer in Naremburn on the North Shore recently, and this one came with two problems worth knowing about if you’re considering the newest Frame — one about the TV itself, one about the wall. Samsung TV Wall Mount in Avalon on a Solid Brick Wall
This one was in a townhouse in Avalon, mounting a 55-inch Samsung on a solid brick wall. Brick changes the job. Most of the walls I work on are gyprock, where running a cable through the cavity is straightforward. Solid brick doesn’t give you that option without chasing a channel into the masonry, patching it […]
