Job Description: Wall Mounting Samsung 55in LCD TV and Bose SoundTouch 300
My customer was replacing an older Panasonic plasma tv with a Samsung smart 55in TV. They were also updating to a Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar and Foxtel IQ3.
Since the previous tv had all analog cables in the wall we had to replace them with Ultra HD HDMI cables. We were able to use the existing tv wall mount bracket. They also purchased a Soniq soundbar bracket to mount the Bose soundbar. With the Soniq soundbar bracket you have a choice to mount the sound bar above or below the tv.
There was a bit of fiddling around with the soundbar bracket getting the spacing right etc. Once the tv and soundbar were up on the wall and we had all the cables plugged in we were able to set the tv up to the internet and the Foxtel IQ3. The Bose SoundTouch comes with the ADAPTiQ headset which calibrated the soundbar for the individual room.
