Job Description: Television wall mounting on pull down wall bracket above fireplace
My customer had a 65in Hisense LCD mounted above their fireplace on a flat wall bracket a few years ago.
They now have a toddler and she is struggling to view the tv at the height above the fireplace. They purchased on eBay a pull down wall bracket so that their toddler could view the tv at a suitable height.
When the parents are watching the tv back on the lounge the television is up at the highest position. The tv is then pulled down with the handle located below the television for their child to watch tv.
I was surprised on how easy it was for the tv to be moved from the high to low position. I had never used this bracket before so it was an interesting install for myself as well.
the existing HDMI cables we long enough to connect the tv back up to the Foxtel IQ2. They also wanted the Foxtel to change channels without having to open the cupboard door. I put in an IR repeater which is suitable for Foxtel and 2 other devices if they wish to add any in the future.
