Job Description: TV installation and wall mounting of Samsung television and Bose Solo 5 TV Sound System
My customer had moved into their new home in Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches a few months ago. Her husband had been promising to wall mount the tv for weeks so she decided to call me so that it was done professionally and with no fuss.
I got the customer to choose the height she wanted the 55in Samsung to be wall mounted. The common height these days is 850mm. We found the timber studs in the wall to fix the flat bracket to.
The brackets I use are universal, so that in the future if the customer changes tv’s or the television dies they can just bolt the new tv to the existing bracket.
The Samsung tv had the Connect One system. This is a little box that all the HDMI, antenna, USB and optical cables connects into. the connect One is then plugged into the television.
When the tv is wall mounted this makes it easier to plug and unplug devices into the tv as the Connect One is normally situated in the cabinet.
We plugged the Apple TV, blu-ray and Bose Solo 5 into the tv and made sure everything was working correctly.
